This privacy policy applies to the Ophelia app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Florian Mari (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Ophelia is designed with privacy as a core principle. The Application does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All processing happens entirely on your device.
Specifically, the Application does not collect:
The Application uses your device's microphone to capture audio, which is processed locally by an on-device AI model (Parakeet v3) to produce a text transcription. The audio and resulting text never leave your device. No internet connection is required for transcription.
The only data stored by the Application is a local word count (the total number of words you have transcribed), saved on your device using iOS system storage. This information is never transmitted externally.
The Application requires microphone access solely to enable voice dictation. Audio is captured, transcribed on-device, and immediately discarded. It is never stored, uploaded, or shared.
The Application does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from any user, including minors.
Because all processing is performed on-device and no data is transmitted to external servers, your information remains entirely under your control at all times.
